I can't believe she's mine. I never use this site anymore. If anyone finds me here, come check us and our pretty new addition out at www.xanga.com/terressalynn. T
| There's a song by Nickleback, "Far Away," that I find myself often scanning to our local pop station in hopes of hearing. It reminds me very much of my family... This time, This place Misused, Mistakes Too long, Too late Who was I to make you wait Just one chance Just one breath Just in case there's just one left 'Cause you know, you know, you know
[CHORUS] That I love you I have loved you all along And I miss you Been far away for far too long I keep dreaming you'll be with me and you'll never go Stop breathing if I don't see you anymore I wanted I wanted you to stay 'Cause I needed I need to hear you say That I love you I have loved you all along And I forgive you For being away for far too long So keep breathing 'Cause I'm not leaving Hold on to me and, never let me go
Hopefully one day you will choose to be part of our lives again...because you are loved, you are missed, and you are forgiven. Grandma, Amariah has a sleeper with a pink elephant on it in honor of you...I was going to post a picture of it, but I still can't seem to get xanga pics to work. In the meantime, I give glory, honor, praise, and thanksgiving to the one who works all things together for the good of those who love him and who is, truly, a father to the fatherless. By the way, I've relocated: www.xanga.com/terressalynn
| Apparently, bringing up the fact that sweaters are almost in season and they're super cute this year holds little appeal to husbands: it does not make them want to go shopping. Surprisingly, neither do $75 gift cards (if you like receiving those, I recommend getting married...;). Fact one made me a little sad; fact two made me oh so happy. While Wesley felt no need to utilize the gift card, I was highly motivated. I may have exceeded our gift card a little...but it sure was fun! Wesley now has lots of work shirts, our living room is a little more decorative, and long sweaters are super cute on pregnant bellies! Hopefully Amariah doesn't inherit my love of shopping...Wesley may have to reconsider becoming a specialized heart surgeon or something. (PS--No budgets were actually damaged in the making of this post. =) | | |
| To make it officially known...(if you don't want to read the whole story, just scroll down to the end) In the beginning of June, when I finally started letting the Lord heal some of what had happened with Wesley in November and my family when we got married in April, I felt the Lord speak very strongly about some things as I allowed some trust and faith back in. He spoke of my identity, the outcome of these situations, and most exciting (though not most important), he promised us a new life. I knew what he meant. I didn't share this with Wesley (I felt it more prudent to wait--he now likes to tease me about this), and when it didn't happen that month, I decided I hadn't heard correctly from the Lord. After all, we'd only been married a couple months, and it wasn't exactly in the agenda for at least another two years, for a number of reasons. The next month I tightened up our "precautions," to make sure it couldn't happen... But to my surprise (and even moreso Wesley's), it did!! As I'm sure you've figured out, the news is that we are having a baby!!! When we looked up our favorite boy/girl names, the girl name (Amariah) meant promised of Jehovah. (we'll certainly take a boy, but this leads us to believe it will be a she) Right now Amariah is somewhere between 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 inches long, and weighs about two ounces (how I've already gained 10 lbs...I don't know =). We are expecting our little promised child in March of 2007. | | |
